Paperback Book 'The Tlingit Boy Called John'

The author, at 82 years of age, writes his first book that his granddaughter, Bridget, agrees to illustrate. Having been born and raised on a small island in Southeast Alaska, he relates his time with the land and its people, especially the local Natives. His great-grandchildren are seventh generation on the island, while JJohn's people have resided here more than 10,000 years. Enjoy the adventures of two fine young men growing up in the 1950's. 

 

This book is dedicated to the Native people of this region and to his wife, Kay Louise, who spent many hours deciphering his poor penmanship and patiently typing this story.
